Depending on the nature of your business, a fax function may not be essential. However, there are a few options when it comes to which one is necessary.
If you have an analog phone line, you can connect a fax machine to one of your phone lines as-is to send faxes the old-fashioned way.
If on the other hand you are using a VOIP phone service, then digital faxing is reassuring. A digital fax service, or eFax account, allows you to send faxes directly from your computer on the Internet. If faxes are sent, you can receive them by email from them.
The downside is that sending faxes directly over a VoIP line is less reliable than analog faxes. It’s not an overstatement to say that smartphones are a must-have for modern businesses, as they provide access to email, contacts, calendars, the internet and, of course, voice calls wherever you are.
There are three main types of smartphones to choose from when choosing a smartphone. All three are now so integrated with mainstream servers and applications that it’s difficult to strongly recommend any one of them.
As long as you can access the data you need, any of your favorite company’s smartphones will certainly work, no matter which one you choose.
